
The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation has launched an iftar project which will run for the whole Holy Month of Ramadan in different Afghan provinces.
Iftar banquets are being organised by the foundation daily at mosques in Kabul, Kunduz and Nangarhar provinces in cooperation with U.A.E. Embassy in Kabul and under the oversight of the standing committee for humanitarian and development aid.
Coordinator-General of the said committee said U.A.E. humanitarian agencies, including the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, are making huge efforts to alleviate the suffering of the needy during Ramadan.
