The Amman Chamber of Commerce (ACC)
Amman - Petra

The Amman Chamber of Commerce (ACC) organized, on Monday, meetings between representatives of local and Indian companies in a bid to further promote economic ties between the two countries.
The Indian companies represent various economic sectors, including construction, home furniture, marble, mining, electricity and engineering among others.
ACC first deputy Ghassan Kharfan said that the Jordanian business sector is keen to advance economic relations with India to increase the volume of trade exchange.
He added that Jordan makes a lot of products, goods and services and they could be part of the Indian market needs such as pharmaceuticals, phosphate and potash fertilizers, and Dead Sea products.
He pointed out that the Kingdom's imports from India during the past year reached $1.1 billion while the Kingdom's exports to India stood at $495 million.
