
Secretary General of the Ministry of Peshmerga, Let. Gen. Jabbar Yawar: declared that "7 countries with the United States have provided various aid to the Kurdistan region," adding that any part of Kurdistan if needed to help of the Peshmerga forces, the Peshmerga is ready to help to counter terrorism.
Yawar said in a press statement today that "the assistance provided to Kurdistan were of the varied kinds, and there are countries provided arms, ammunition and other ensured the transfer of weapons and ammunition, and some of them gave humanitarian aid to the refugees in the Kurdistan region, and some trains Peshmerga forces."
He added: "Some of the weapons arrived in the Kurdistan region and some of them on their way to arrive, because sending them on stages," pointing out that "the distribution of these weapons on the Peshmerga are through a Committee and in accordance with the movements and activities of the Peshmerga."
Yawar explained that "the countries of Finland, Hungary and the Czech Republic expressed their willingness to help the region against terrorism".
