Israeli Likud Party headed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanhahy slammed Israeli Finance Minister Yair Lapid as the most unsuccessful finance minister in Israel's history, Ynet reported Tuesday.
Labid will not be part of next government, the party said in a statement in response to MK Yair Lapid's remarks.
"Lapid is adding to attacks by Tzipi Livni, Isaac Herzog, and the left in an attempt to create a government of their choosing despite the fact that the extent of poverty and unemployment fell under the last two cabinets headed by Benjamin Netanhahu," said the Likud.
"In the next Netanyahu government, Lapid, the most unsuccessful finance minister in the history of Israel, will not serve in any capacity."
