Tehran - Fna
Iran and Venezuela inked two more agreements for further expansion of mutual cooperation during the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad visit to the Latin American state. The two countries signed two memoranda of understanding (MoUs) on nanotechnology and economic issues. The documents were signed by Iran's minister of mines and Venezuela's minister of science and technology in the presence of the two countries' presidents. The Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his Venezuelan counterpart Hugo Chavez also inked a joint statement on bilateral cooperation. President Ahmadinejad arrived in Venezuela's capital Sunday evening at the head of a high-ranking politico-economic delegation on the first leg of his four-nation Latin American tour. The Iranian delegation includes Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi, Minister of Economy and Finance Seyed Shamseddin Hosseini, Minister of Industries, Mines and Commerce Mehdi Qazanfari and Minister of Energy Majid Namjou.
