French prosecutor calls to dismiss negligence probe into IMF's Lagarde

A French prosecutor on Tuesday asked to dismiss a negligence case against IMF chief Christine Lagarde in connection with her role in an arbitration case while she was finance minister.
The request was put to the final court of appeal which must rule on the matter before the investigation into Lagarde, which was opened late last month, can be dropped, a source close to the matter told AFP.
