EU ambassador highlights importance of small, medium projects in Egypt

European Union (EU) Ambassador to Egypt James Moran said on Sunday that the EU as well as the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development and the European Training Foundation have carried out a comprehensive evaluation on the small and medium projects in eight Middle East countries, including Egypt.
He added that this kind of projects is so important as they boost the national economy and create more job opportunities.
Moran noted that cooperation between the EU and Egypt would help transfer expertise of the European countries in this domain to Egypt.
He underlined that the EU is keen to support economic development in Egypt during the next phase.
