Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev
Moscow - Itar-Tass

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has passed to authorities of the Russian federal city of Sevastopol some part of federal powers to manage natural resources in this new constituent entity. The agreement was earlier concluded between the city of Sevastopol and the Federal Subsoil Resources Management Agency.
The prime minister issued a decree “to approve the agreement between the Federal Subsoil Resources Management Agency and Sevastopol government to hand over to Sevastopol government some part of federal powers in subsoil use management.” The decree was posted at the official portal of legal information on Wednesday.
In May the prime minister has approved the similar agreement between the Russian subsoil use agency and the Russian Republic of Crimea. “This document should make management of state fund of natural resources in the republic more effective,” Medvedev said then.
