
Minister of Electricity Abdullah al-Akwa on Saturday valued China's support to Yemen in various developmental aspects, as well as its support for the political process during the transitional period.
During his meeting with the Chinese ambassador to Yemen Chang Hua on the occasion of ending his tenure, the minister al-Akwa noted that Yemen is going through a difficult situation and that the current government needs further support from the friendly countries to be able to fulfill the requirements of the coming stage.
The minister praised the efforts of the ambassador and his prominent role during his term in support of Yemen and his keenness to support the development aspects in Yemen, especially the electricity sector.
For his part, the Chinese ambassador confirmed his country's readiness to continue its support to Yemen so as to enable it to come out of the current situation.
