Supply and Internal Trade Minister Khaled Hanafy

Supply and Internal Trade Minister Khaled Hanafy discussed with Managing Director for Infrastructure at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Thomas Maier and Regional Director Philip Woort means of promoting joint cooperation.

They probed also support provided by the bank in the technical domain and exchanging international expertise to develop internal trade via establishing logistic areas in various governorates.

In a statement issued by the ministry on Friday, Hanafy underlined that the meeting tackled means of offering technical support by the EBRD for projects on upgrading harbors specialized in receiving grains in Alexandria and Dekhila Ports.

The get-together took up also establishing silos and an up-to-date logistic system in Damietta.

Hanafy reiterated that the ministry will benefit from the expertise of the bank in the reconstruction and development domains.
