
Minister of Investment Ashraf Salman received on Sunday Georgian Ambassador in Cairo Archil Dzuliashvili and his accompanying delegation.
The meeting, which was attended by officials from the Ministry of Investment, tackled means to cement relations between the two countries in various domains, especially discussions on economic cooperation between the two sides.
It also dealt with the upcoming visit by the minister of investment to Georgia to attend the annual meeting of the Council of Governors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and means to attract more investors into Egypt.
For his part, the Georgian diplomat expressed his country's readiness to cooperate with Egypt in the tourism domain after discussing efforts to increase the number of flights between the two countries.
Georgia is also ready to cooperate with Egypt in the fields of silos, ports and logistic services, said the diplomat.
He invited the Egyptian government to take part in the Silk Road conference which his country will organize .
