
Trade and Industry Minister Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour said on Monday that the Egyptian-Vietnamese relations are limited, adding that the country is looking forward to developing it.

The Vietnamese economy is promising and Egypt is keen on benefiting from its experience in achieving a comprehensive economic renaissance, the minister noted.
Bilateral trade reached 395 million dollars in 2014, where the Egyptian exports were estimated at 16 million dollars only.
Thus, talks should be held between the two sides to increase the trade, especially the Egyptian exports to face the budget deficit.
The minister's remarks came during inaugurating the Egyptian Vietnamese Business Forum organized by the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce.
