
The U.S. dollar maintained its relative high position against the Japanese yen early Friday in Tokyo trades, staying at the upper 102 yen level.
At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 102.77-78 yen compared with 102.75-85 yen in New York and 102.86-87 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Thursday.
The euro fetched 1.3389-3389 dollars and 137.60-61 yen against 1.3385-3395 dollars and 137.60-70 yen in New York and 1.3395-3397 dollars and 137.78-82 yen in Tokyo late Thursday afternoon.
