
The economic expectations for August for the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region showed a downward trends, a latest survey said.
German Center for European Economic Research and Austria's Erste Bank said in a report that economic sentiment indicator for the CEE region, which measures experts' expectations on CEE markets for the next six months, has lost 16.1 points in August, Croatian News Agency Hina reported on Thursday.
It was the second consecutive monthly decline and it now stands at a level of 11.2 points, the report said.
Croatia has decreased by 12 points to 18.6 points, it said.
The survey covered Croatia, Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Turkey.
