China keen on enhancing cooperation with Egypt

The Chinese government pays great attention to enhance cooperation with Egypt, said head of the Chinese delegation to the Egyptian-Chinese businessmen forum.

The remarks were made in a keynote speech during the inauguration of the forum, organized by the Chinese and Egyptian ministries of trade on the occasion of Chinese President Xi Jinping's visit to Egypt.

Twenty trade missions representing 11 Chinese companies visited Egypt to hold meetings with the Egyptian companies, he said.

The Egyptian-Chinese relations have developed on all levels, he said.

The trade exchange between both countries amounted to $11.620 billion during in 2015, he said. The Chinese investments in Egypt were also estimated at five billion dollars and provided 10,000 job opportunities, he added.
