Cambodia to receive $144m in development aid from China

China will pledge at least 144 million dollars in grants and loans for Cambodia's economic development, dpa cited officials as saying Monday.
The Cambodia Ministry of Foreign Affairs said China will provide a 700 million yuan (about 112 million dollars) in grants and an interest-free loan of 200 million yuan.
The two governments are also expected sign separate agreements Tuesday to boost greater cooperation in defence, education, and construction sectors, ministry spokesman Kuy Kuong said.
