
Industry and Commerce Minister Zayed bin Rashid Al-Zayani has today commended steadily-growing economic and investment cooperation between Bahrain and Russia. He hailed the efforts exerted by the Russian Embassy to bolster joint relations and implement the agreements and memoranda of understanding which were signed between the two countries.
The landmark deals were sealed during the historic visits of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister to Russia.
Receiving Russian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Victor Smirnov, he said that the sealed deals and memoranda have yielded key economic and investment projects. The Russian ambassador lauded the Government for its efforts to bolster bilateral relations, hailing Bahrain's economic and urban strides which turned the Kingdom into an outstanding investment and trade hub. He credited the Government's policies which encourage businessmen and investment companies to establish in Bahrain and benefit from the business-friendly environment and incentive packages.
