
Shaikha Mai bint Mohammad Al Khalifa today held a press conference on the Kingdom of Bahrain's participation in Expo 2015 Milan, Italy, that aims at highlighting Bahrain's agricultural and cultural heritage stems from Bahrain's 5000-year history.
A brief presentation on Bahrain's participation in the international event and its importance to Bahrain from economic, tourism and cultural areas was given.
Shaikha Mai Al Khalifa underlined the successful tourist and cultural elements of attractions Bahrain enjoys, pointing out seizing this great opportunity to benefit from this key event that attracts more than 20 million visitors.
Shaikha Mai Al Khalifa called on companies and financial institutions to sponsor the event's associated activities. She commended the private sector's role in uplifting cultural sector and the BD 35 million presented by Bahraini private sector for boosting investment in the cultural sector that has yielded many achievements.
