
The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI)'s Chairman Khalid Abdulrahman Al-Moayyed and his accompanying delegation currently visiting the French Republic met representatives of French TV channels, newspapers and the media.
A seminar took place in the Kingdom's Embassy in the French capital, in the presence of the Kingdom of Bahrain's Chargé d'Affaires in France, Hussein Al Mahmoud.
The BCCI said that during the seminar, Al-Moayyed commended the level of growth and development of the bilateral relations in various fields.
The delegation's visit to France was to participate in the Arab-French Economic Forum hosted by the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry under the slogan: "Strategic Partnership".
During their visit; the BCCI delegation members met several economy officials in France, including the Director of the French Minister of External Trade Office, the Director of Int'l Economic Partnership in the French Foreign Ministry, the Head of the Special Trade and Attractively Mission, the Director of Middle East Office in the Ministry of Economy, the Official in-charge of Bahrain's Dossier in the MENA Department in the French Foreign Ministry. They discussed ways and means of boosting and strengthening economic relations in various fields, stressing on the importance of mutual visits between commercial delegations from both countries in order to activate the economic relations.
A memoranda of understanding was signed between the Bahrain and the Paris chambers on business and investment cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the French Republic.
