
Chairman of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Khalid Abdulrahman Al Moayyed has participated in the thirtieth ministerial session of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMCEC), which took place in Republic of Turkey.
In this regard, Mr. Al Moayyed commended the bilateral relation between Kingdom of Bahrain and Republic of Turkey, knowing that the volume of trade has amounted to USD 171 million according to the latest figures of the Central Informatics Organization (CIO) in Bahrain. Mr. Al Moayyed said "the business community of Bahrain is eager to exploit more investment opportunities with its Turkish counterpart, and indulge in joint projects and partnership".
It is worth mentioning that the session discussed the action plan of the organization for the forthcoming term, deliberated about the latest global economic issues, mulled ways of expanding and intensifying trade among member countries of the organization, in addition to other topics of mutual interest.
