Chairperson of the African Union Commission Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma hailed the free trade market agreement reached between Africa’s three largest economic blocs that was signed during a summit meeting in Egypt on Wednesday.
Addressing the 27th Ordinary Session of the AU Executive Council on Friday, Zuma said the market paves the way for establishing a free trade zone in the African continent, Radio France International reported.
Speaking about women, Zuma said “Women in Somalia, the Central African Republic, DR Congo, South Sudan, Darfur, Mali and Nigeria are yearning for peace. We must silence the guns”.
