
The Arab-German Business Forum is meant to lure German investments to Egypt as Germany is the one of largest economy in Europe, the Egyptian ambassador in Berlin said on Thursday.
In statements to MENA on Thursday, Badr Abdel Ati said the forum - hosted by the Egyptian embassy in Germany - aims at encouraging investments in Egypt and posting investors on mammoth national projects in Egypt as well as the unified investment law.
The three-day forum is held under the patronage of the German Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy, H.E. Sigmar Gabriel, and organized in cooperation with the General Union of Arab Chambers of Commerce (GUCCIAAC), the League of Arab States and the Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry (DIHK).
More than 600 leading experts and decision makers from business, politics and science attend this high-ranking conference that presents the essential networking platform to create new and enhance existing business relationships.
The forum addresses current and perspective Arab-German cooperation in the fields of Logistics and Mobility, Financial Services, Industrialization, Sports Industry, Free Zones, Infrastructure Megaprojects, Women Entrepreneurs, Investment in the UAE, Construction and Housing as well as Start-ups and SMEs. This year’s partner country of the forum is the United Arab Emirates.
