
Minister of Transport Saad El Geyoushy witnessed here Monday the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport (AASTMT) and Panama's maritime affairs organization.
This came during the second day of the Fifth International Maritime Transport and Logistics Conference (MARLOG 5), which is organized by AASTMT.
For his part, AASTMT president Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail stressed that the protocol aims at boosting bilateral cooperation through exchanging expertise in scientific research and maritime studies.
The protocol includes organizing training courses in maritime and navigation by the Panamanian organization.
On the other hand, AASTMT will offer technical and consultative support for the Panamanian organization.
