A ship loaded with relief materials, including 3,000 tons of food and rations, arrived in Aden port as part of the UAE's humanitarian efforts to help alleviate the suffering of the people of Yemen, according to WAM News Agency.

The aid came upon directives of UAE President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the orders of Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

The assistance is part of aid run by Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation to extend relief to the Yemeni people suffering from acute shortage of food as a result of the conflict taking place in Yemen.
