
Red Sea Harbors Authority Spokesman Malak Youssef said Suez and Zaytiyat harbors are closed on Sunday before navigation due to bad weather conditions.
The spokesman said the closure decision came after waves reached 5 to 6 meters high, while winds velocity reached 30 nautical miles per hour.
Head of the Red Sea Harbors Authority Hisham Abu Sena has ordered all directors of harbors to take all precautionary measures to ensure navigation safety.
Red Sea governorate is hit by a wave of bad weather and all precautionary measures have been taken in this regard.
