Egyptian agriculture ministry
Khartoum - MENA

Egyptian-Sudanese projects in the field of livestock, poultry and meat production will be established in the coming period, said a top official with the Egyptian agriculture ministry.

The projects are part of a purposeful strategy adopted by the ministry to increase meat production, reduce high prices of meat and enhance partnership between Egypt and Sudan, the ministry's head of livestock and poultry development department Mohamed Tag El Deen told MENA.

Tag El Deen made the remarks on the fringe of a visit by an Egyptian delegation led by the agriculture minister to the Sudanese states of Sennar and Blue Nile.
