Manama - SUNA

Sudan and the Kingdom of Bahrain have agreed at the conclusion of President Bashir's visit to Bahrain to hold the meeting of the Higher Joint Ministerial Committee at the middle of this year as well as the opening of Bahraini embassy in Khartoum in the near future.
The Sudan Ambassador in Bahrain Abdul-Rahman Khalil Ahmed described, in a statement to (SUNA), that the visit of the President of the Republic at the invitation of his brother His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa as historic because it took place after 17 years, particularly it came a time that the entire Arab world is undergoing severe crises required to be addressed.
The ambassador pointed out that the visit discussed the political and economic relations and came out with good results. He pointed out that the holding of the Higher Ministerial Committee will boost economic, investment and tourism relations to further horizons as the Kingdom of Bahrain has a pioneering experience in using technology and modern science. So that Sudan can benefit from its experience in attracting investment, banks and financial institutions, especially that Sudan is tending to establish strategic relations with the Gulf States through its mining, agriculture and livestock resources.
