Sisi probes with PM efforts to control prices, secure transport system

Abdel Fattah El Sisi received on Tuesday Prime Minister Sherif Ismail and discussed with him political and economic issues especially means to stabilize prices and secure transport.

Presidential spokesman Alaa Yousef said the prime minister posted Sisi on the progress made in providing energy and foodstuff for citizens.

The president stressed the importance of activating the role of control agencies on medicine and food to provide goods for citizens at low prices, said the spokesman, adding that the prime minister will meet MPs of all governorates to discuss services and development projects and overcome economic problems.

The president discussed with Ismail the recent train accident in Ayyat, Giza, and efforts to secure the transport system through developing level crossings.

President Sisi also discussed with the prime minister efforts to provide hard currency in cooperation with the Central Bank of Egypt and also reviewed with him the latest development in the project of reclaiming 1.5 million feddans.
