Qatar General Insurance H1 profit drops to QR53.78m

Qatar General Insurance and Reinsurance Company has announced a net profit of QR 53.78 Million for the six-month period ending June 30.
This is a drop by 92.75% compared to the net profit of QR 742.24 Million reported for the same period in 2013, according to a Qatar Exchange bulletin Sunday.
The company’s Earning per Share (EPS) slid to QR 0.77 compared to QR 10.73 for the corresponding period in 2013.
