Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab
Daqahlia - MENA

Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab inspected a waste recycling plant on the second day of his visit of Daqahlia governorate on Sunday.

Mahlab was accompanied by the ministers of planning, housing, health, irrigation and agriculture and the governor of Daqahlia.

The premier was posted on the status of the plant before being developed by the Egyptian Company for Solid Waste Recycling (ECARU).

He checked on the different phases of the waste recycling process for the production of organic fertilizers.

ECARU had undertaken the plant in October 2014. It started the actual production in March 2015 with a daily capacity of 1,200 tons.

Mahlab then inspected a bridge project in Sendoub town, which is being carried out by the Armed Forces Engineering Authority, and will connect together Dakahlia, Cairo, Damietta and Sharqiya. It is expected to be completed by the end of June.
