Amman - Petra
State Minister for Media Affairs and the Government Spokesman Mohammed al-Momani on Tuesday praised Iraq's decision to provide assistance to Jordan. He said that the Iraqi council of ministers decided to offer a $25 million to Jordan that will be provided in the form of crude oil. The minister also expressed the Kingdom’s appreciation for the brotherly stance of the Iraqi government and its efforts to help the Kingdom in addressing economic challenges. Momani stressed Jordan’s keenness to enhance cooperation with Iraq, mainly through economic projects that serve the two countries, pointing to the oil pipeline project that will allow Iraq to export its oil through the Aqaba port and provide Jordan with part of its needs of oil.
