Ibrahim Mahlab
Cairo - MENA

Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab met on Sunday with Minister of Manpower and Immigration Nahed Ashri to review a number of issues related to work in the ministry.

Cabinet spokesman Hossam Gawish said minister Ashri presented the prime minister with a report on the recent incidents in factories and industrial facilities and their causes, as well as the proposals to overcome the repercussions of such incidents.

The minister said her ministry works to establish anti-fire systems in cities and industrial areas to reduce the number of the incidents.

On the issue of illegal migration, minister Ashri said her ministry will organize a number of symposiums to warn against the risks of migration in cooperation with investors.

For his part, prime minister Mahlab called for focusing on the early warning systems to prevent accidents in factories.
