Kuwait - KUNA

Kuwaiti Red Crescent Society launched a donation-raising campaign on Monday for the Syrian refugees who are suffering tough weather conditions in neighboring countries.
Director of Public Relations and media in KRCS Khalid Al-Zaid said in press remarks today that this campaign came to alleviate the suffering of Syrian refugees who suffer from the deteriorated situation due to the severe cold wave that hit the region lately, especially in camps resided by refugees in Lebanon and Jordan.
The donations will be received at the society's headquarters in morning and evening periods, and the campaign will continue as much as people positively interact with it.
The KCRS urged Kuwaiti citizens and businessmen to effectively contribute to this humanitarian relief effort to help Syrian refugees in neighboring countries.
