GIDA to hand over initial approval of investors' applications to establish industrial projects

The General Industrial Development Authority (GIDA) announced that it will start as of Monday handing over initial technical approvals for the investors, who applied to carry out 1,272 projects in new cities.
In a statement Sunday, the GIDA's chief Ismail Gaber said that measures to allocate lands will be implemented in line with mechanisms of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) at the Housing Ministry.
Following GIDA's approval, the investor will be asked to apply to NUCA to complete all the procedures of obtaining the land, he added.
