Egyptian Products Exhibition in Amman

Minister of Industry and Trade and Information and Communications Technology Hatem Halawani on Thursday evening opened the 9th Egyptian Products Exhibition in Amman. Halawani stressed the strong Jordanian- Egyptian ties, expressing the government’s keenness on promoting them, especially in trade fields. Egyptian Ambassador to Jordan Khaled Tharwat said the event is an opportunity to introduce Egyptian products to the Jordanian market, noting desire to promote bilateral relations, especially in economic and trade fields. The volume of trade exchange between Jordan and Egypt stood at $ 937 million in 2012.
