Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab issued on Thursday the statute of the Investment Guarantees and Incentives Law.

The new statute, no. 1,820 of 2015, annulled the previous one issued in 2004 as well as all other provisions that run contradictory the new one.

The new statute covers businesses of land reclamation and cultivation, industrial zones development, tourism investment, transportation, livestock, poultry, industry, and others.

The law is a combination of incentives, customs exemptions and many new investor protections and guarantees.
