Egyptian PM forms unit to follow up major projects

Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab formed a unit affiliated with the cabinet to follow up the quality of work and problems facing the implementation of national projects.
Cabinet Spokesman Hossam el Qawish said the prime minister held a meeting with the unit members on Tuesday.
The unit comprises young professors in various fields.
Egypt is carrying out a number of national projects, including one to reclaim 1.5 million feddans, the Suez Canal Corridor Development Project, a social housing project, drinking water and waste water projects and building schools.
