Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab held a meeting on Tuesday to discuss the executive steps of Marashda agricultural reclamation project, in Qena governorate, Upper Egypt.

During the meeting, Irrigation Minister Hossam Moghazi gave a presentation on the current situation of the water resources available at the Marashda project, cabinet spokesman Hossam Qawish said.

The project covers an area of 38,500 feddans.

The minister also presented studies of water resources at the area of the project.

The spokesman added that the prime minister ordered to provide financial allocations to carry out the project.
