Egypt to apply green tourism standards
Egyptian Tourism Minister Khaled Rami

A project has been launched to apply the concept of green tourism in Egypt.
The project sets standards that should be applied by tourist destinations so they will be green, said Tourism Minister Khaled Ramy.
He noted that such standards will take into consideration the conditions and nature of the Egyptian tourism destination.
He met with representatives of hotels and travel agencies on the new project.
