Dredging rate at new Suez Canal project hits 142M cubic meters

Maj.-Gen. Kamel el-Wazir, the head of the Armed Forces Engineering Corps and the supervisor of the new Suez Canal project, said Thursday the digging rate at the project reached 142 million cubic meters.
In a press conference, el-Wazir said the number of workers in the project reached 22,000 after new companies joined in the project last week.
