Agriculture and Land Reclamation Minister Essam Fayed

Agriculture and Land Reclamation Minister Essam Fayed said that the plan of developing Borolus Lake targets increasing its fish production to 78.000 tons annually at a cost of 1.170 billion pounds.

The minister stressed that the government and the political leadership in Egypt are keen on developing lakes to increase the national income and improve the livelihood of the workers in fishing.

Fayed underlined that his ministry represented by the General Authority for Fish Resources Development (GAFRD) has taken measures to develop Borolus Lake.
