Damietta Port received on Wednesday 11 vessels, including four container vessels and seven ships loaded with general goods, spokesperson for Damietta Port Authority Mamdouh el Sheity said.
There are 27 ships outside the port waiting to finalize their entry procedures, he added.
The port's grain and pulses silo is currently holding 84,140 tons of wheat, the spokesman added.
