The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) today announced that the monthly issue of the Sukuk Al-Salam Islamic securities, Sukuk Al-Salam, has been subscribed by 128%.

Subscriptions worth BD 55 million were received for the BD 43 million issue, which carries a maturity of 91 days.

The expected return on the issue, which begins on 23rd November 2016 and matures on 22nd February 2017, is 2.05 % compared to 2.02% for the previous issue on 19th October 2016.

The Sukuk Al-Salam are issued by the CBB on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

This is issue No.:187 (BH0007866765) of the short-term Sukuk Al-Ijara series.
