
The Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) said that the total number of work permits issued by the Interior Ministry for Egyptians to work abroad increased by 0.9% to 1.33 million in 2015 compared to 1.32 million in 2014.
In its annual bulletin, CAPMAS said Tuesday that the number of first-time work permits declined by 0.7% to reach 612,64 in 2015 against 617,05 in 2014.
As for the renewed work permits, they upped by 2.3% to reach 714,90 in 2015 compared to 698,51 in 2014, it added.
