
Egypt's Petroleum imports thudded down by 72.4 percent to 1.12 billion dollars in October 2015 against the same month in 2014, according to the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS).
Petroleum exports plummeted down by 29.3 percent in October 2015 in comparison with the same month in 2014, CAPMAS said in its monthly report, a copy of which MENA obtained on Thursday.
Natural gas and petroleum production shrank in November 2015 to stand at 0.5519 million tons against 0.5750 million tons in October 2015, CAPMAS said.
Butane gas imports rose in November 2015 to stand at about 222,600 tons against 173,000 tons in November 2014, according to the report.
Diesel oil production upped in November 2015 to register 692,000 tons against the corresponding month in 2014, the report said.
