Secretary General of the Council on Arab Economic Unity (CAEU) Ambassador Mohammad el Rabie pressed the need for Arab countries to develop their human resources in light of the high rates of unemployment in the Arab world.

These remarks were made by Rabie during his address to the annual forum of Human Resources Directors organized by the Arab Academy for Banking and Financial Sciences.

He also highlighted the need for developing education programs, preparing training and qualification programs so as to provide well-trained workforce to cope up with the rapid developments in technologies, production programs as well as modern services.

The CAEU chief cited the successful experiments of China, South Korea, Malaysia and Singapore who achieved great steps in the production rates and exportation by using the state-of-the-art technologies along with skillful workforce.

He asserted that investments in human resources are considered long-term investments that contribute to the strategic targets of any work foundation or project.

He also pointed out to the management strategies and the need for implementing development programs for the administrative leaderships to introduce progress in the production rates and opt for creativity and innovation among the staff.
