Cabinet aproves bill on 10% annual pay rise to employees out of CSL

The cabinet under Sherif Ismail agreed on a bill granting a 10-percent annual pay rise to employees who are unlisted in the Civil Service Law (CSL).
During a press conference after the meeting on Thursday, Deputy Finance Minister Mohamed Meit, said three million public sector servants will make use of the bill, adding that the annual increase, totaling 2.5 billion pounds, will be retroactively effective as of 1/7/2016.
