Meeting
Manama - BNA

Minister of Housing Bassim bin Yaqoub Al-Hamer said that the housing loans scheme launched by Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa last October and organized by the Ministry of Housing which continues until December 28 comes as part of a series of affordable social housing financing programmes launched by the Ministry marking the Kingdom of Bahrain's National Days and HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's Accession Anniversary celebrations.
This came as the Minister paid a field inspection visit to the exhibition organized at the Seef Mall as part of the Ministry's programmes and launched this month.
The Ministry offered its housing loans service to the fourth batch comprising 383 beneficiaries. The Ministry also began the allocation of more than 6000 housing units all over the Kingdom's governorates. Citizens satisfaction with the Ministry of Housing services as per recent official statistics reached 94%. The Ministry served more than 1900 eligible applicants.
The Minister praised the effective contribution of banks and financial institutions and property development companies in this programme.
