Alexandria, Dekheila ports closed for fifth day over bad weather
Alexandria - MENA

The Alexandria Port Authority on Thursday decided to continue the closure of the Alexandria and Dekheila straits for the second day in a row due to bad weather and high wind velocity.

The decision is meant to prevent any collision of ships and ensure safety of maritime navigation, said Chairman of the Alexandria Port Authority Maj. Gen. Medhat Attia.

On Wednesday, Alexandria was hit by a noticeable decrease in temperature, high wind velocity and gale-force waves.

Alexandria security bodies have taken needed measures for confronting possible rainfall
