Some 96 trucks laden with 29,000 tons of wheat left Alexandria port on Thursday heading for mills in various governorates.
Spokesman for the port authority Reda el Ghandour said stevedoring was expedited and transiting vessels increased after applying the one-stop shop system and using electronic messages.
Ships movement at the port is going on normally, he added.
